Why is it so difficult to properly discern these two sentiments from each other? And why does the confusion of these two can induce so much suffering in a human life? This theme is the foundation of many a problem of being valued, and can be a barrier to experiencing the faith as well. In this lecture I dig up from a growing l'Abri tradition of reflection about this question.
