Although the resurrection, eternal life and the coming of the Kingdom of God are central topics in the christian doctrine, some Christians have different perspectives of the future. Some, for example, may believe in eternal life with their minds, but the way they react to the pressures and challenges of life might reveal that they do not believe in it with their hearts. The central question of this lecture is: how can we really believe in eternal life and live according to it in an age where everything seems to push us to the other side?
